South Bay Eco Kids Nature Camp
Welcome to Award - Winning South Bay Eco Kids!
If you have been looking for a quality nature camp for kids in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, you’ve come to the right place. In fact, you’ve found the ONLY educational nature camp for kids in the South Bay!
At South Bay Eco Kids, children are immersed in nature while learning why nature is important and what we can all do every day to protect it. Our campers get to do all kinds of fun things, such as:
- scavenger hunts (with and without compasses)
- journaling
- trash-to-treasure crafts
- wildlife-inspired games
- hands-on science activities
But with all the activities that we do with the kids, for many of them, the best part is just getting to play outside in nature. And no wonder: with American kids now spending more than 90 percent of their time indoors, many are likely suffering – both mentally and physically – from a lack of exposure to nature.
South Bay Eco Kids sells out early every year, so if you've been looking for a quality nature camp for your kid(s), we recommend registering by mid-April at the latest to secure your space.
What? The only camp in the South Bay area where children get to spend the day playing in, learning about and connecting with nature.
Where? Wilderness Park, 1102 Camino Real, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
When?
Camp runs 10:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday

Growing Up Green Presentations (Grades 1 - 5)
When it comes to protecting the environment, no one has more to lose than those who will inherit the planet that we leave behind: our children. We believe that children understand this and want a healthy environment for themselves and the wildlife that they love.
Our Growing Up Green presentations focus on three areas of environmental protection where children can make a real difference, in their own day-to-day lives: Recycling and Composting, Water Conservation, and Plastic Pollution. Because of the nature of our presentations, we currently offer presentations for small groups only (30 children or fewer).
Our goal is to empower children to become stewards of the environment not just on tree-planting or beach clean-up days, but every day, for the rest of their lives.
